WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLOTHING
RAYON: Washing all rayon by hand is preferable. When machine-washing, use the gentle cycle and promptly remove garments after washing. Launder in cool water and a mild detergent. When hand-washing, do not wring or twist the garment. To dry, roll the item in a towel to squeeze out excess water. Lay flat to dry. Iron when still damp and with the garment inside out to prevent the fabric from becoming shiny.
LINEN: Most linen garments need to be dry-cleaned or hand-washed. Follow the instructions on the care label. To touch up or press, use a steam iron on a linen setting for a crisp look.
SATEEN: You can wash the satin upholstery or clothing by hand or in the washing machine. However, it would be best to use cold water since it’s a delicate fabric, and warm water might harm its integrity. As it’s incredibly soft and delicate, we suggest you don’t wring or twist the material to retain its shape and texture.
TENCEL: Do not tumble dry, only dry by air., hang your shirt on a hanger or a line. Avoid direct heat or sunlight.
COTTON: Wash in warm or cool water to prevent shrinking and fading. Cotton fabrics can be air-dried or machine dried using moderate-to-low heat.
CANDLE CARE
DIRECTIONS: Always trim wicks to 0.5cm before lighting (we suggest using a wick trimmer). The first time you light your candle, let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling.
CANDLE SAFETY: Follow the 1 metre rule - don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable. Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax. Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep or if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container. A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 0.05cm of wax remains in the container.
